Four weeks and counting

Just an initial post to get things started. I leave for France in exactly four weeks, and everything is set aside from the minor detail that I do not yet have a visa. This is something I should probably get moving on, since I otherwise will not be allowed in the country, and that would be unfortunate. Still waiting to make sure Campus France has received my money for it, and then I'll be making an appointment at the consulate downtown. 28 days!
