Our story starts when a 14 year old girl refuses to listen to reason and insists on taking French as her foreign language. She then goes on to study French and English to make sure that there will be no possible direct career path waiting for her. Said girl studies abroad in Southern France, discovering the wonders of mild winters and developing severe addictions to pain au chocolat, baguettes traditions, nutella, quiche lorraine, real mozzarella, and saying 'merciaurevoir' every time she leaves a room. She finds her return to the Midwestern US to lack in warmth and pastries. Upon graduating, she decides to run away to France to teach English to high schoolers. She spends her days eating baguettes, getting linguistically confused, and trying to convince people that there is a part of the United States in between New York and LA.
